as a professional athlete, to a new life as a Couch Potato.
Food $50
This will feed one foster greyhound a healthy, premium diet for one month.
Crate & Bed $200
Greyhounds fresh from the track need crating during their early days in foster care, while they learn the ropes of living in a home as a pet.
Gas $75
One round trip transport, in a volunteer's vehicle, to pick up greyhounds and bring them to Las Vegas.
Basic Medical $350
This will cover the minimum cost of one retired racing greyhound's spay/neuter, anesthesia, blood work, dental, vaccinations and other miscellaneous medical expenses.
Martingale Collar, Lead & Tags $20
Each retired racer needs a greyhound safe collar and lead and an identification tag.
Exercise Pen $125
Used to aid a greyhound in foster transition, and for public education events.
Other Needs:
Postage stamps
Large rawhides processed in the USA only
Stuffed animals with squeakers
Elevated feeding stands and dishes
Clean used comforters or quilts
