Our Featured Adoptable is "Raven. Raven is a 5 year old girl with her racing career behind her. Raven is a sweet love bug who likes to cuddle. She is an alpha personality and can not be placed with small dogs or cats. She loves toys and rawhide bones, uses a doggie door with perfection and is just waiting for that right family to adopt her.

GPA Orange County - Greater Los Angeles Annual Trip to the Caliente Racetrack Online registration is now available for the trip to the Caliente Racetrack on March 13, 2010. You will need a passport or a passport card to enter Mexico. If you haven't been on one of the Caliente trips before, they are loads of fun! We will visit the pet kennels and turnout yards at the racetrack; we eat lunch at the track restaurant, visit the pet kennel, drink margaritas from the margarita fountain, visit the zoo, and watch the races. When you register for the trip, you will also get the opportunity to pre-order commemorative t-shirts featuring a racing program brochure cover from the Caliente Racetrack, published in 1948! 	Permanent & Foster Homes Urgently Needed - Phoenix Track Closed Dec 19th. This is an immediate call to action. Greyhounds who raced at Phoenix have mostly transferred to the 2 remaining Arizona tracks in Tucson & Apache Junction and Aqua Caliente in Tijuana, Mexico. Greyhounds transferring to other tracks have resulted in more hounds who are no longer competitive "grading off". They need foster care or placement. Read Press Release

Petsmart Greyhound Meet & Greet Every 1st Saturday of Each Month at Summerlin Store, 9775 West Charleston Blvd, Las Vegas, NV 89117. GPA Las Vegas is honored and excited to showcase our foster dogs as a Petsmart Charities Adoption Partner and we also hope you will bring your adopted greyhounds to mingle and show off their greyt qualities! We are excited to continue to participate in "Mutts on Main Street", an ongoing monthly pet adoption event hosted by The District at Green Valley Ranch featuring pet rescue organizations in one location with the goal of finding "forever homes" for homeless pets. We will be presenting our ex-racing greyhounds in the foster program who are amazing retired professional canine athletes.
